Just the other week I boasted about having tidied up my garage workspace. During that process I got to thinking about some ideas to utilise crafty odds and ends. Now the ideas and plans I came up with aren't necessarily for a crafty project for me necessarily. But hopefully my little plan will work nicely towards raising funds towards bigger projects I'm working on.
So I've crafted up the idea of "My Little Jars of Bits", using up all upcycled, recycled, scrap, thrifted and vintage bits and pieces and jars. There are and will be combinations of all sorts of things.

* A jar of fabric yo-yo's, for all sorts of crafty projects from shoe clips to decorating a top
* A jar of vintage sheet gift wrapping tie
* A jar of vintage button hair ties
* A jar of bits of crafty odds and ends, trims, laces, doilies, small embroidery scraps, sweet appliqués, odd clip on earrings, yo-yo's, brooch backs and all manner of other surprises.....so many little quick projects lie within, it's all down to your imagination.
That's just a few that I'm putting together, and more are currently underway, with all sorts of crafty wonderfulness in them. Complete in a reusable, up-cycled and ever so useful decorative storage jar. So in all everything is useable.
I often do well selling off crafty bits and pieces at carboot sales and markets, so here goes trying these out around the traps and other locations for some pocket money.
Oh I LOVE this idea! I would totally buy a goodie jar full of fab crafty bits n pieces! Sarah xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hope others fancy them.
ReplyDeleteI've sold a few boxes of random sewing notions on eBay for good money in the past. I'm a sucker for bags of sewing stuff at car boots and take out what I need and sell it on! x
ReplyDeleteMe too, there are always surprises amongst those packs that some oppies put together.
