Brisbane's Vintage Fashion Fair 2012.....

On Saturday morning after a quick change from early morning swimming lessons the family and I headed to Brisbane, so this mumma could get some me time wandering around the fair. The Big V took the little Vowers plane spotting and various other mini adventures whilst I busied myself in vintage pleasures.

I had a most peaceful time being able fluff about and flick through fabulous frocks and other delights. There were loads of pretties to capture the heart and eye. But would you believe I was ever so restrained again? I know the shock, the horror. But again it came down to the specifics I have in my head and heart for rebuilding my vintage wardrobe back up again. Added to that, my need for clothing items, to be breastfeeding friendly? There is probably a blog post brewing in my restrained-ness, something to do with not buying vintage willy nilly, something about being discerning for your style......anyways I digress.

I did buy two items both of which I knew were "just me" and would be great additions to my Spring/Summer stylings and are highly likely to be on very high rotation. But you'll have to hold out for another post this week about my purchases.

A very clear highlight of the day was my catch up with Kitty, and of course just as when I visit the shop I couldn't help myself but to have flick through the frocks. Seriously Vowers do they have some frocks at the moment, do they what!!!!!!
