Busy here, busy there, busy everywhere......

The day is drawing to a close and I've barely had a moment to sit and ponder the weekend just past. To be honest we've just ridden a mighty busy weekend and weekends just like the one gone don't seem to have an end in sight for a while. It's all good though I don't mind life being busy when it is genuinely full of the things I love.

The super marvellous Big V pulled duties on Father's Day at a local car boot sale and was wheeling and dealing like no ones business. We did well, and several of those pretty pennies are going towards my vintage dreams and plans. I'm so grateful for such a supportive husband and the best Daddy Vower to my little Vowers. Oh and I must share a sweet daddy and son moment on Fathers Day when another recently acquired piece of furniture made its way into the house.

Hmmm some little boys grubby hands have been fondling these drawers.

 

The very set of drawers Master V's Grandpa used as a teenage boy, as well as the Big V himself, which has now taken residence in Master V's bedroom. He loves his daddy and Grandpa like nothing else and is smitten with his drawers knowing their history.......he even said goodnight to his drawers last night and told them he loved them. Funny and sweet huh?

But in all seriousness it's interesting how something with history like an old set of drawers can make someone feel, don't you think?
