A short and sweet one this sweet Sunday. Let me just take a second though, to mention that posts over this coming week may be short or scarce. My dear Pop passed on Wednesday afternoon, so it's family first as we juggle things, so I may or may not be around the place, I will just see how the week pans out.

I wanted to quickly show you this little sweetie that was given to me last weekend by my mother in law. It was given to her by her great aunt, in the 1950's when my mother law was fifteen. It is a sterling silver marcasite bow brooch. I'm once again very honoured to have another sweet piece handed on down to me.
Wishing you all happy days and smiles.
What a sweet brooch Trudie. I seem to remember having one similar. Again, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. We'll be here when you get back. Take all the time you need.
